Office of Financial Aid

Kentucky State University's Office of Financial Aid coordinates the administration of all financial aid programs through federal, state, institutional, and other organizations in a timely manner, ensuring equity and consistency in the awarding of funds while aiming to maintain the most efficient use of available funding.

Our mission is to assist and advocate for our students as we provide the highest level of services. Introducing students and families to various types of financial assistance and increase opportunities for student success in higher education.

Our vision for the Financial Aid office is to remove financial barriers and deliver resources to students. Our office is committed to creating a culture of CARE, DIVERSITY, GUIDANCE, ACCESS, and EFFICIENCY.

In the majority of cases, federal and state financial aid resources are not sufficient to meet a student's expected tuition costs. Financial Aid is designed to assist only (not fully fund) your educational expenses.
