Who Is My Advisor?
If a student has a major, they may have two advisors: a primary and secondary. The primary advisor is a faculty member within the student’s major. The secondary advisor is an Academic Persistence Officer (APO) in the Center for Academic Persistence & Success (C.A.P.S.). If a student does not have a major, the student may have only one advisor. This is the student’s primary advisor and he/she is an APO in C.A.P.S.
