Increase graduate enrollment and diversity
Strategies/Tactics:
Targeted Recruitment Campaigns: Develop outreach initiatives aimed at underrepresented and international student populations through virtual fairs, alumni networks, and HBCU partnerships
Graduate Program Ambassadors: Establish a student ambassador program to engage prospects through peer testimonials, Q&A sessions, and social media podcasts.
Streamline Admissions Process: Simplify application procedures, enhance advisor responsiveness, and introduce rolling admissions were feasible

Enhance Academic Excellence and Program Relevance
Strategies/Tactics:
Curriculum Review and Update: Conduct annual program audits to align curricula with industry trends, emerging technologies, and social needs
Faculty Development and Support: Offer training in graduate-level pedagogy, interdisciplinary research, and mentoring best practices.
Expand Applied Learning Opportunities: Increase internships, capstone projects, and partnerships with local, state, and federal organizations.

Strategies/Tactics:
Graduate Student Success Center: Launch a dedicated support hub offering academic advising, thesis/dissertation coaching, and wellness services.
Career Readiness Programming: Integrate resume writing, interview preparation, and networking events tailored for graduate students.
Alumni Mentorship Network: Connect students with alumni working in relevant fields to provide guidance, job leads, and professional development support.
Office of Graduate Studies
The Office of Graduate Studies facilitates the development and improvement of graduate programs and supports student success and progress toward graduation. The Office oversees graduate admissions. The Director of Graduate Studies serves as advisor to the Graduate Student Association. The primary goals of the Director of Graduate Studies are graduate program success and graduate student success. These are to be achieved through the Office of Graduate Studies with the support and aid of the Graduate Council and the Graduate Faculty.
