Message from Psychology Faculty

Welcome!  The School of Psychology is the home of our Bachelor of Science (BS) Psychology program and our graduate-level MA Program in Interdisciplinary Behavioral Science (MIBS).  The School of Psychology also offers a minor in Psychology, and both a graduate certificate and a minor in Interdisciplinary Intelligence Studies.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, many careers available to students with a degree in Psychology are in high-growth occupations.  Data available at O*NET OnLine indicate that these careers are classified as “bright outlook” areas because either the number of jobs available in the U.S. is projected grow faster than average, or the occupation is projected to have 100,000 or more job openings in the U.S. between 2022 and 2032. The School of Psychology is a great place to prepare for your future success!

The School of Psychology attracts talented students who not only draw academic honors, but also contribute greatly to the life of the university by earning student leadership positions.  Our students go on to careers in everything from law and government to the business world, and even return to the classroom after graduation as teachers or professors.  We strive to stimulate intellectual curiosity and critical thinking as our students confront real-world issues at the individual, community, national, and global levels.

Your faculty are dedicated, engaged, and committed to your success.  We are confident that the School of Psychology offers something for everyone.  We invite you to explore our programs and welcome the opportunity to answer any questions you may have.
