International Studies Program

Minor in International Studies

Kentucky State University students must be prepared to participate and compete in our increasingly globally connected world. Thus, they are exposed to an international curriculum that enables them to interact in, understand, and appreciate cultures other than their own.

In view of the above, Kentucky State University offers a Minor program in International Studies. The Minor in International Studies requires the completion of 18 semester credit hours.

Study abroad electives can be accepted for credit toward the minor upon the discretion of the IS Minor Coordinator.

The BA in Africana Studies (ASP) is offered through the WYS student-designed degree option.
