The School of Business and Technology also offers programs of study leading to Minors in Accounting, General Business, Management, or Marketing.  Please check with your advisor to confirm specific program requirements.


Minor in Accounting

Students electing a minor in Accounting should complete the following courses:

  • ACC 201 Principles of Accounting I
  • ACC 202 Principles of Accounting II
  • ACC 301 Intermediate Accounting I
  • ACC 302 Intermediate Accounting II
  • ACC elective*
  • ECO 202 Principles of Economics II

Total: 18

* May be selected from courses with ACC prefix, excluding ACC 300.


Minor in Business
Non-Majors Only

Students electing a minor in Business should complete the following courses:

  • ACC 201 Principles of Accounting I
  • ACC 202 Principles of Accounting II
  • BUA 101 Computer Applications in Business
  • BUA 204 Business Communications or ENG 216 Technical Writing
  • *ECO 202 Principles of Economics II

* ECO 201, Principles of Economics I should be taken as part of the Liberal Studies requirement, instead of ECO 200.
