Overview
Student Support Services (SSS) is a TRIO program funded under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and since its inception at Kentucky State University (KSU), it has provided exceptional academic and personal support for several students who qualify and are focused and determined to graduate with their degree.
Student Support Services (SSS) at Kentucky State University (KSU) is crafted and designed to provide optimal benefit and cultural exposure to students who will dedicate themselves to their goals and aspirations. Student Support Services (SSS) will assist participants with their short-term as well as long-range career choices.
Students enrolling in this unique program will be exposed to educational, social, and cultural opportunities that will broaden their sense of awareness, and enhance their skills so they can compete globally.
Kentucky State University (KSU) and Student Support Services (SSS) will focus on providing students with optimal benefits and services from their freshman year through graduation as well as assist them with their career choices after graduation. Our primary goal is to guide students so they can maximize their collegiate experience and prepare them to compete worldwide.
Overall, Student Support Services (SSS) provides an opportunity for success to those who are selected for participation and are willing to commit themselves to the mission of Student Support Services and their educational goals. Student Support Services (SSS) dovetails with the mission and goal of Kentucky State University for our students to: “Enter to Learn – Go out to Serve,” with students “Preparing, Succeeding, and Graduating” with the assistance of Student Support Services.
