Kentucky State University librarian named writer and researcher for Chronicle of African Americans in the Horse Industry

A Kentucky State University librarian was recently named as a writer and researcher for the Chronicle of African Americans in the Horse Industry.

Sharon McGee, librarian and archives records manager, joined the project recently. The Chronicle of African Americans in the Horse Industry is an online interactive archive to house and display photos, artifacts and oral histories of the African Americans who have worked and continue to work in equine industries.

The project is supported through an Art Meets Activism grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women.
