Kentucky State University associate professor awarded research fellowship
A Kentucky State University associate professor was recently awarded the Vivian A. Ware Research Fellowship.
Dr. TaKeia Anthony, associate professor of history at Kentucky State, was awarded the one-year, full-time research fellowship.
According to the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) website, the fellowship recipient will conduct research on the history of the DREF and compile the findings in a written document.
Additionally, according to the DREF website, the Ware Fellow will extract and compile archival data for inclusion in the online repository of The Center for Research on African American Women.
