Bio:

Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, Al received his Bachelor’s in Music Education from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.  He also holds a Master Degree in Education Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University in University Center, Michigan.

Al has taught most of his professional career in the State of Michigan.  He currently possesses a teaching license in Michigan as a K-12 certified music teacher.  His first teaching job was at his alma mater in Saginaw, Mi.  He later moved to the Detroit area teaching in River Rouge, Inkster and the Oak Park School Districts.  Al has been teaching for 22 years and has a decade of experience as both a school and district administrator.
