Student Run Farm Food Safety

Safety is always our #1 priority on our student run farm. All of our farm techs and personell are produce safety trained by the Produce Safety Alliance. We ensure all of our products are treated with the upmost care and cleaniness by training all of our students and staff at the Kentucky State Univeristy Student Run Farm.

"The Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) is a collaboration between Cornell University, FDA, and USDA to prepare fresh produce growers to meet the regulatory requirements included in the United States Food and Drug Administration’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule."
