FRANKFORT — Kentucky State University (KSU) is a finalist in the Home Depot Retool Your School contest, and the home improvement retailer will reveal if Frankfort’s University will win $50,000, $40,000 or $30,000 between  2:20 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 during a live stream.  KSU will hold an exciting watch party at 2 p.m. in Bradford Hall, Room 101. The event is free and open to the public.

The Frankfort community, KSU alumni, staff, faculty, and students came together to help KSU become a finalist in the contest by tweeting the Home Depot-assigned hashtag #KyState_RYS17. The social media contest was held from February 24 to April 16. The University is vying for the grant against Tuskegee University and Central State University.

KSU is eager to find out the winners’ announcement.
