
Gov. Matt Bevin and State Budget Director John Chilton visit KSU
FRANKFORT, Ky — Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin met with President Raymond M. Burse Wednesday for a tour of the University. Bevin was joined by State Budget Director John Chilton as they learned more about the Betty White Nursing Center and the world-renown Division of Aquaculture Research program.
The KSU president introduced Bevin to several faculty including Dr. Kirk Pomper, Dr. James Tidwell, Dean Treadway, Millie McAnly, Jeremy Lowe and Peter Smith. The governor also talked with Board of Regents Chairperson Dr. Karen W. Bearden and students Doug Blair, a researcher with the aquaculture program, and SGA president Diamond Gordon.
