Why Kentucky State?

Before I transferred to Kentucky State from my previous junior college, a lot of the "big time" schools gave up on me because I was graduating in the summer of 2019, instead of the winter semester of 2019. However, Kentucky State kept their faith in me that I would exceed on the field, as well as in the classroom. I stood with them as they did with me.

What is your major and why did you choose this area of study?

I chose to major in psychology so that I would be equipped to help give back to the community. I want to provide services as a head athletic director at a school of my choice. I want to make sure students are well informed, receive proper guidance, choose the right classes, and get the exposure that is needed to get them into the college of their choice.

Who inspires you and why?

My family inspires me. Throughout our lives we’ve faced a lot of adversity that many people don’t know about, but we stayed strong. Everything I do, I do for them.

What do you plan to do when you graduate?

I plan on being in the NFL after graduating. After that, I plan on assisting student-athletes as a career advisor, helping students meet their academic and athletic goals.

Words to live by:

This is a passage from my favorite verse in the Bible, Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT, “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
