Why Kentucky State?  Kentucky State University is a home; in fact, it’s my home. Despite not being here all four years, I’ve grown and loved on this campus as much as it has grown and loved on me. I can remember my first time visiting. The “take care of my own” attitude flooded throughout the school from ASB to Hume Hall. I can remember President Brown and SVP Stamps making sure I was safe and had somewhere to stay during my visit. So I guess the question isn’t so much of “Why Kentucky State?” But instead, “Why Not Kentucky State?”  #WhoYouWit

What is your major and why did you choose this area of study? My majors are psychology and political science. I chose these areas because I noticed a need in the minority communities – a need for psychological attention, a need for hope,

Who inspires you and why? My mom and my grandparents inspire me. Despite all the obstacles my family and I have faced, I’ve never seen them quit or give up. They have always selflessly placed the needs of my sisters and I above their own. They have sacrificed so much so that we could have everything they never did, especially my superhero mommy!

What do you plan to do when you graduate? Post-graduation, I plan to further my education and obtain my master's. I also want to jump right into my career in a field closely related to my current major.
