Why did you choose Kentucky State? Why not Kentucky State University? My aunt is an alumna; she talks so highly of the institution. We came to visit for an open house and I was sold! I knew this school would be a great fit for me.

What is your major and why did you choose this area of study? My major is criminal justice. I chose this major because I want to serve my community.

Who inspires you and why? My granny – Gail Hatten – inspires me. She is a praying, loving and hardworking woman who motivates me to be a better me every day.

What do you plan to do when you graduate? After graduation, I plan to continue my studies by attending graduate school.
