Kentucky State University student received the Psi Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi scholarship

Kentucky State University senior Jonathan Dawson recently received the Psi Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi scholarship.

Dawson, from Queens, New York, was presented the award by Kentucky State President M. Christopher Brown II and special guests.

The business administration major said he moved from Queens to Kentucky to accomplish his goal of attending a small Historically Black College and University (HBCU) that would help him grow as an individual and equip him with the skills he needs to be successful.

His dream is to become a real estate developer. Upon graduation, he plans to attend the University of Louisville College of Business to earn an MBA in entrepreneurship.

Dawson is also recently attended the Thurgood Marshall Leadership Institute and is the newly elected president of Innovators, Inc., which is an entrepreneurship student organization on campus.
