Position: Research Associate

How long have you been employed at Kentucky State? From May 2015 until December 2017 I was a graduate research assistant. From December 2017 until the present, I’m serving as a research associate.

What has been one of your favorite moments at Kentucky State? Receiving the Outstanding MES Student Award in 2016 has been my favorite moment. I also love the fact that I get to share what I learn in the field and at lab to the growers directly and be a part of their success.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? I enjoy traveling and exploring new places.

What is one thing you couldn’t live without? I can’t live without my family.

A fun fact about me is…I don’t like mangoes, but my parents own a mango farm in Nepal.
