What year did you graduate from Kentucky State? 1997

What have you been up to since graduation? Since graduation, I married my wife, who I met while attending KSU. We have two boys. I also earned a master’s in justice administration from the University of Louisville. I’ve been working for the U.S. Department of Justice (Federal Bureau of Prisons) for over 18 years.

What is your best memory or memories at Kentucky State? My best memories of Kentucky State are the social life and the forever bonds created through friendships and fraternal (Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity) relationships.

What is the most important thing you learned here? The most important thing I learned at Kentucky State was how to become a man, becoming more conscious of the black struggle and seeing how brilliant educated black people can be.
