Kentucky State University announces the 3rd Annual Ag Roundup event on September 4-6, 2025

The College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources at Kentucky State University is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Ag Roundup, a three-day event scheduled for September 4, 5, and 6, 2025. This event will bring together middle, high school, and college students, as well as faculty, farmers, local businesses, and other stakeholders from across the Commonwealth to celebrate Kentucky State’s impact on agriculture and student professional development.

  • Day One – Networking Reception (September 4, 2025): Beginning with the opportunity for Kentucky State students to network with our event partners, community leaders, and alumni. This reception is not open to the public and is by invitation only.
  • Day Two – Ag Fest (September 5, 2025): Attend an agriculture symposium, where guests will learn about Kentucky State programs and what can be gained from a career in agriculture, health, and natural resources. Expect an outdoor festival with fair-like activities, free food, and exhibits to showcase programs, research, and ideas for students’ future path.
  • Day Three – KSU Showcase (September 6, 2025): Network with Ag professionals, experience a bit of university life, tour the campus, enjoy a tailgate cookout, and enjoy free admittance to the KSU football game.

“Through the Ag Roundup, we are raising awareness of our impact in agriculture and in STEM sciences across the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” said Dr. Marcus Bernard, Dean of the College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources & Director of Land Grant Programs.

The three-day event will be held on Kentucky State University’s main campus at Bradford Hall, the Rufus B. Atwood Research Building and the Yellow Brick Road, and Alumni Stadium. This public showcase is free to attend.
