Amos Akwemoh
Amos is a dedicated geophysicist with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geophysics from
the University of Benin, Nigeria. His expertise lies in applying geophysical methods to investigate and interpret subsurface conditions
for environmental and geological problem-solving. For his undergraduate research,
he conducted a gully site investigation using Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT)
to determine the causes of gully formation and propose effective management strategies, utilizing
RES2D software for 2D inversion modeling. He has gained extensive experience in geological
mapping and sample analysis across Edo State, Nigeria. Currently, he serves as a Graduate
Research Assistant at the Center for Geospatial Intelligence and Environmental Security,
Kentucky State University, where he employs advanced geospatial tools such as ArcGIS
and QSWAT+ to address complex environmental and geological challenges.
