Dipesh Oli
Dipesh Oli is a research associate at center for geospatial intelligence and environmental security, Kentucky State University. He is originally from Nepal and completed his undergraduate from Agriculture and Forestry
University, Nepal. He holds MS degree in Environmental studies with specialization in geospatial research. His research explores the use of geospatial concepts and
datasets to understand environmental changes, ecological restoration, and land use land cover changes. He has expertise in remote sensing, machine learning, statistical modelling and hydrological modelling. Also, he has experience of mentoring students interested in STEM fields and has facilitated various GIS/remote sensing related workshops. He is passionate about data driven sustainable land use and natural resource management.
