Holiday Schedule

ELIGIBILITY FOR HOLIDAY PAY: 

Full-time employees are those working at least 37.5 hours per week (40 hours for units such as Physical Plant, Public Safety, and Information Services) for at least nine months per year. These employees are eligible for all KSU-provided benefits.

Holiday Work and Compensation:

Employees may be required to work on holidays at the discretion of the University.
If required to work, employees will receive paid time off on another scheduled workday within three weeks of the holiday. Advance notification to the supervisor is required before using this leave.

Additional Provisions:

• Employees on unpaid leave immediately before or after a holiday will not receive holiday pay.
• Employees on authorized vacation leave during a holiday will not have the holiday charged as vacation leave.
