Kentucky State University is thrilled to share a significant advancement in our employee benefits program. Since the appointment of Dr. Koffi C. Akakpo as the 19th president on July 1, 2023, the Office of Human Resources (OHR) has been actively engaged in the seamless transition of benefit-eligible employees to the Kentucky Employee Health Plan (KEHP) effective January 1, 2024.

KSU aims to improve the overall health and well-being of its employees, and the KEHP provides health plan coverage designed to achieve this goal.
