A Kentucky State University professor is set to receive an award from Carter G. Woodson Academy in Lexington. Dr. Herman E. Walston, professor of child development and family relations, will receive the Spokesmen Award during the school’s 3rd African American Achievement Awards show. A Kentucky State University student recently received the Tyson Food Inc.’s Best Abstract Award during Aquaculture 2019 in New Orleans. Gagan Kolimadu was selected from student members of the World Aquaculture Society and the United States Aquaculture Society (USAS) who submitted abstracts for presentation at Aquaculture 2019.
