Students are expected to move in during their assigned move-in date and time. Early move-in requests cannot be accommodated. If a student is unable to arrive during their scheduled move-in time, they must notify the Office of Residence Life in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Failure to communicate a late arrival may result in delays to the check-in process or other administrative action.
Please continue to monitor your KYSU email for updates regarding move in.

Important Housing Update
Please note that Thorobred Hall will have a 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement and will be designated for upperclassmen and 1890 Scholars.
Additionally, Whitney M. Young Jr. Hall will transition to a Tranquility Hall. This community will also require a 3.0 cumulative GPA, along with the implementation of 24/7 quiet hours and a focus on creating a respectful, well-being-centered living-learning environment.
These adjustments are part of our continued efforts to optimize the residential experience and better support the academic and community needs of our students.
If you have any questions regarding housing eligibility or placement, please contact the Office of Residence Life at (502) 597-6123 or residencelife@kysu.edu
What We Believe
