Fern Creek High School students tour The Hill
Students from Louisville’s Fern Creek Traditional High School visited Kentucky State University on Friday. The group of about 35 toured the campus, met with faculty and staff members and asked questions of President Raymond M. Burse.

Marlin McKay, Brass Artist in Residence in The Division of Fine Arts, presented a special Master Class on Thursday. Professor McKay, whose expertise is on the Music and Musical Practices of the African Diaspora, performed a piece from his new recording for students in attendance. Lexington Legends President and CEO Andy Shea stopped by Kentucky State University’s home base to encourage students to consider careers in minor league baseball on Thursday.
