Welcome Back Scholarship

Kentucky State University is committed to supporting adult learners in completing what they started. The Welcome Back Scholarship is designed for individuals who previously enrolled at KSU, paused their studies, and are now ready to return and finish their degree.

This scholarship provides financial support to help remove common barriers that prevent adult learners from re-enrolling and progressing toward graduation.

To be eligible, students must:

Be 25 years of age or older
Be a former KSU student who has stopped out and is seeking to return
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
Have an outstanding balance of $1,500 or less with the university

The Welcome Back Scholarship reflects KSU’s commitment to meeting adult learners where they are and providing meaningful pathways back to degree completion.
