KSU professor to receive $728,615 grant from National Institute of Justice
Kentucky State University associate professor of psychology and sociology Dr. Mara Merlino has been awarded grant funding of $728,615 from the National Institute of Justice for her new project, “Cognitive Human Factors and Forensic Document Examiner Methods and Procedures.” Dr. Mara Merlino displays her 1,450-page research report she submitted in 2010, when she was given $467,000 by National Institute of Justice. Brass Artist in Residence hosts Master Class
Marlin McKay, Brass Artist in Residence in The Division of Fine Arts, presented a special Master Class on Thursday. Professor McKay, whose expertise is on the Music and Musical Practices of the African Diaspora, performed a piece from his new recording for students in attendance.
