A Kentucky State University student was recently named as a 2019 Newman Civic Fellow. Alexus Loyd, a sophomore from Groveport, Ohio, said she was excited to find out about the fellowship. “I was unsure if I would receive this amazing opportunity and I was ecstatic to find out that I had, indeed,” Loyd said.
