Kentucky State University was recently recognized in the nation’s oldest continuously published African American newspaper as a top HBCU.

The Philadelphia Tribune, which began in 1884, recently recognized Kentucky State as one of the top 25 HBCUs in the country.

The Tribune noted Kentucky State’s rise through the rankings in recent history.
