Kentucky State University Upward Bound program officials recently identified the inaugural recipients of the program’s scholarship. Four students received the scholarship, as they transitioned from the Upward Bound program to Kentucky State University. Members of the Danville alumni chapter recently visited campus bearing gifts for different areas of Kentucky State University. James Dunn, chapter president, first stopped at Alumni Stadium to purchase tickets for students to the Kentucky State University night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark during a Lexington Legends game.
