Kentucky State University will celebrate the opening and naming of its new pedestrian walkway during a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, March 7 at 10 a.m. The pedestrian walkway will be named in honor of the leadership and service of Dr. Mary E. A Kentucky State University alumna will represent Ohio in the upcoming Ms. Black USA pageant in Washington, D.C. Tinesha Davis ’12 from Columbus, Ohio, was recently crowned Ms. Black Ohio and will represent the state in the Ms. Black USA pageant. In a press release, KAS announced that Kentucky State University is a 2019 Kentucky Academy of Science (KAS) Enhanced Affiliate and any Kentucky State University faculty, staff, or student may join KAS for free.
