
KSU student to perform at Museum Hop/Block Party
Freshman business major and music minor Donatien Mugisha from Lusaka, Zambia, is set to perform at the Museum Hop/Block Party on Friday, April 21. Hosted by the Kentucky Historical Society and Capital City Museum, the event is free and open to the public. Live music, booths, food trucks, and a DJ will be available.
Professionally known by DripDaDrop, Mugisha will take the stage at approximately 8:45 p.m. He has taken the stage with Tanzanian artist and Africa Song of the Year Winner Diamond Platnumz, as well as performed at the University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University, Cleveland Youth Festival, Columbus Arts Festival, Juneteenth Ohio Festival, XO Nightclub (Columbus, Ohio), the Secret Pour, (Brooklyn, New York), and the Belvedere Cigar Lounge (Lawnside, New Jersey), to name a few.
DripDaDrop’s first EP, titled “Sides of Me” (2020), showcased his versatility and racked up 700,000 streams within two years.
