International Pathway Program
Coming Soon
The International Pathway Program (IPP) is designed for prospective students who have not reached Kentucky State University’s English language proficiency admission requirement. If a student meets all other KSU admission requirements but does not have the minimum TOEFL(70), IELTS(6), or Duolingo(100) scores, or has no scores, they may be granted admission through this program. Students are required to complete one to three semesters in the IPP, depending on their English proficiency level. While in the International Pathway Program, students will take a combination of non-credit English as a Second Language courses and specific credit academic classes.
Program features:
- One to three semesters of ESL courses, depending on starting English proficiency levels,
- Choice of credit-bearing courses in academic colleges,
- Guaranteed admission to a KSU degree program after IPP completion,
- All credit courses apply to the student’s degree when fully admitted to KSU.
The International Pathway Program will provide students with pre-arrival advising, on-site orientation, and cross-cultural events/activities to help them make a smooth transition to the social and academic life at KSU.
Application information will be available soon.
