Promising Youth Center for Excellence

Summary

The Promising Youth Center for Excellence (PYCE), a youth empowerment initiative of Kentucky State University, provides comprehensive, year-round programming to support the academic success, personal growth, and social development of middle school students. PYCE offers both one-to-one and group mentoring, after-school enrichment, and the Summer Enrichment Institute—a dynamic summer program that combines academic support, life skills training, cultural exploration, and wellness education. The program’s core objectives are to enhance school engagement, foster positive relationships, build self-confidence, and promote healthy lifestyle choices. PYCE creates a safe, supportive environment where youth are empowered to realize their full potential and develop the skills needed for lifelong success.

Please contact PYCE staff for any questions about program operations.
