Susma is a first-year master’s student at Kentucky State University. She joined the Agronomy lab in August 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Anuj Chiluwal. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal. Her research mainly focuses on UAV-based aerial phenotyping to measure soybean growth, physiology and yield prediction. Prior to joining KSU, she served as an Agriculture officer in Madhyanepal Municipality of Nepal where she got over six months of experience working closely with farmers in rural communities aimed at providing sustainable crop production and indigenous crop production.
