Manish Pandit

Graduate Research Assistant (MS in Environmental Studies)

mpManish is a second-year master’s student at Kentucky State University. He joined the Agronomy lab during Fall of 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Chiluwal after his bachelor's of science degree at Agriculture and Forestry University. In this lab, he has a specialization in soybean systems with particular emphasis on soil fertility management, soybean agronomy, as well as biological nitrogen fixation. His major research integrates essential plant physiological parameters with key yield and seed quality outcomes based on efficient timing of Nitrogen application. Apart from this, he is also focusing on the effects of Nitrogen applications on Biological Nitrogen Fixation as well as using remote sensing to determine soybean health and estimate yield using high throughput methods.
