Christopher Brown II will serve as the keynote speaker for Transylvania University’s celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event takes place Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. in Carrick Theater on Transylvania University’s campus. Kentucky State University will host a lecture on Louis Stokes and the Kentucky – West Virginia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (KY-WV LSAMP) organization Feb. 20 in room 115 of Carver from 11 a.m. until noon.
