Christopher Brown II will serve as the keynote speaker for Transylvania University’s celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event takes place Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. in Carrick Theater on Transylvania University’s campus. A notable Kentucky State University alumnus was recently selected to join the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame (KSHOF).  Elmore Smith, member of the 1970 and 1971 NAIA championship men’s basketball teams, joined the KSHOF class of 2021.
