Kentucky State University was recently featured by WTVQ in Lexington for its partnership with Academy Sports + Outdoors and their gift to the Thomas-Hood Veterans’ Center. Kentucky State University senior received $1,000 scholarship
A Kentucky State University education major recently received a $1,000 scholarship from the Margaret Bell Davis Endowed Scholarship Fund. Jordan Lewis, a senior education major from Lexington received the scholarship, which is for full-time Kentucky State University African American students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree and a career in teaching at the elementary, middle or high school level. Two Kentucky State University highway signs denoting the 135-year-old institution's federal designation as one of the nation’s Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU) were set for installation Friday, Oct. 22.
