KSU faculty members selected to participate in leadership institute
Associate Professor of History and CESKKA Academic Support Liaison Dr. TaKeia Anthony and Assistant Professor of English Dr. Keturah Nix will join 24 other participants from Kentucky’s public universities and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System in a year-long training and leadership development program the Council on Postsecondary Education recently announced.
“It is such an honor to be selected for the 2022 ALDI cohort. I have received unwavering support from my colleagues and students since arriving to Kentucky State University," shared Dr. Anthony. "It is gratifying and encouraging not only to be considered an asset to the university, but for my colleagues in administration to advocate and support my advancement into leadership. As a member of the cohort, I hope to gain practical and career focused information that will prepare me for leadership to assist with institutional success. Moreover, I look forward to working with others in the current and previous cohorts and contributing to the ALDI network.”
The Academic Leadership Development Institute program, established in 2017, is focused on building the skills of early career, underrepresented minority faculty and staff who are on track for professional advancement through a series of interactive sessions and small group seminars.
