The Kentucky State University Center for Research on the Eradication of Educational Disparities (C.R.E.E.D.) will host an equity and inclusion conference Oct. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the David H. Bradford Hall Little Theater.

Featured topics include social emotional learning/self-care; understanding and unpacking standards to close gaps; culturally responsive teaching; flipped classrooms; implicit bias and academic expectations; and effective instruction in diverse classrooms.

The keynote speaker for the conference is Dr. Adolph Brown III, an American urban and rural school educator, research-scientist, businessman and keynote speaker.
