The Kentucky Black Legislative Caucus invites the campus and greater community to attend the third installment of its 2026 Black History Celebration Speaker Series: Student Voices, hosted at Kentucky State University.

  • Location: Carl M. Hill Student Center Ballroom
  • Date: Thursday, February 19
  • Time: 11 a.m.

This dynamic conversation will feature students from Northern Kentucky University, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, and Kentucky State University. Panelists will share their perspectives, lived experiences, and bold visions for Kentucky’s future.

Black History Month is not only a time to reflect on the sacrifices and achievements of those who paved the way—it is also a time to uplift the next generation of leaders. Student Voices centers the ideas, insights, and civic engagement of young people who are actively shaping the future of the Commonwealth.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are encouraged to attend this meaningful dialogue in Frankfort and be part of a conversation that honors the past while investing in what comes next.

Join us and help amplify the power of student leadership during Black History Month.
