Tuesday, September 9, 2025
On Tuesday, September 9, Kentucky State University’s (KSU) School of Business and Center for Economic Education and Financial Literacy will host its annual Federal Reserve Luncheon, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (Louisville Branch) and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. The event will take place in the Carl M. Hill Student Center Ballroom from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Featured speakers for the event include Seema Sheth, senior vice president and regional executive of the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; Jimmie Gray, assistant vice president in Operations Shared Services of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland; and Lakisha Higgins, outreach coordinator, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
Dr. Gary Stratton, Interim Chair of the KSU School of Business, said the luncheon has become a signature event for the university.
“For many years, the KSU School of Business and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Louisville Branch, have collaborated to bring this program to our campus, a tradition begun under the leadership of Dr. Abdul Turay,” said Dr. Stratton. “It’s an outstanding opportunity for our students, faculty, and community members to engage with Federal Reserve leaders and learn more about their role in our economy. We are especially excited to expand the partnership by welcoming the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.”
Presentation topics include “Leadership in Action,” offering practical insights for students and community members preparing to lead with purpose, authenticity, and impact. Speakers will also highlight interdisciplinary internships available to KSU students.
The luncheon is open to students, staff, faculty, and invited community members.
