KSU Students Represent at the B.A.U.K. 2025 Spring Badminton Open

Kentucky State University (KSU) students Sandeep Airee and Prashant Bhatt teamed up to represent KSU at the Badminton Association at the University of Kentucky (B.A.U.K.) 2025 Spring Badminton Open, securing second place in the consolation round for Men’s Doubles.

The tournament brought together over 50 players from across Kentucky and other states, offering a highly competitive and rewarding experience. In addition to doubles, Airee and Bhatt also competed in the singles category and reached the semi-finals. 

“We are grateful to represent KYSU on this platform and sincerely appreciate the university’s support,” said Bhatt. “We look forward to continued encouragement and hope for further assistance in empowering students to showcase their talents across various sports.” 

“It was a great experience competing with talented players and showcasing sportsmanship. We are grateful to KYSU for these opportunities and hope for continued support through funding to help students compete at higher levels and represent our university,” said Airee.
