In the halls of Kentucky State University, the Bachelor of Social Work program stand as a pillar. Committed to molding students into advocates for social justice, the program's mission echoed through the corridors, inspiring all who walked its path.

With a focus on empowerment and community well being, this program aims to equip graduates with the tools to navigate the landscape of social work. From the beginning, students are immersed in a world where dedication and hard work paved the way to success.

Each student has embarked on a unique journey fueled by passion and determination as the years pass. With 400 hours of field education practicum experience, they honed their skills and embraced challenges.

But it was the 2024 Undergraduate Scholarly Showcase that truly tested their abilities. 

Their Capstone projects were more than academic exercises; they were real-world solutions crafted with care and fueled by a desire to make a difference. With each presentation, they raised the bar, setting a standard of excellence.

As graduation approaches, many received graduate acceptance letters and secured employment in the social work profession. Their accomplishments were not the end but the beginning of a bright future.

As they venture into the world, they carry the values and knowledge instilled by the Kentucky State University Bachelor of Social Work program.
