BRED Alert: When inclement weather occurs Kentucky State University may cancel, delay or recommend early dismissals due to weather conditions.

The health and safety of our community is of highest concern, and, consequently, we have closed the campus for Friday, March 03. All events and activities will be rescheduled. 

The University community is advised to monitor weather conditions closely and be cautious as the weather changes.

Only essential staff and service areas will operate as normal. The Underwood Cafeteria will operate on the following schedule: Brunch and Dinner will be served simultaneously between 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Students lodged in the Capital Plaza Hotel will have brunch and dinner delivered at noon. Breakfast bars, granola and snacks will be available in the bookstore lobby of the hotel. Please contact the RA on duty for access.

In case of inclement weather, students should shelter-in-place and not leave residence halls. If you have an emergency, please dial 911. If you need assistance, contact Campus Police at (502) 597-6878.
