
Former KSU professor to be inducted into Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame

Richard Lawrence Taylor, a Transylvania University professor emeritus, will be inducted
into the 11th class of the Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame on March 23 in Lexington.
Taylor was a professor in the Division of Literature, Languages, and Philosophy. He
began teaching at Kentucky State University in 1975 and received the Distinguished
Professor Award in 1992.
The Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame was created to recognize Kentucky writers whose work reflects the character and culture of the Commonwealth, and to educate Kentuckians about the state’s rich literary heritage.
