
City of Frankfort recognizes Thorobred Baseball, proclaims August 2022 KSU Baseball Month
The Kentucky State University Baseball team was honored August 22 by the City of Frankfort for a successful season. The Thorobreds finished with an overall record of 25-24 and won the Division II bracket of the Tyson Foods Black College World Series in Montgomery, Alabama with a 11-7 victory over Miles College. This victory was the third time in four years that KSU baseball had finished with over .500 winning percentage after not having had a winning season since 1988.
The Mayor of Frankfort, Layne Wilkerson, proclaimed the month of August 2022 as Kentucky State University Baseball Month to honor and celebrate their season.
